Family Bonding Time

Kembu Cottages were set up for families to escape their daily routines and spend some quality time together. Each cottage was designed to allow families to self cater – cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots and pans, cooking utensils…

Cooking together gives families a time to share, bond and work together. The reality of today’s family is that most of us are busy, with work, school, kids’ activities, homework and other responsibilities gobbling up most of our time. Setting aside a time where the entire family can work together to create a meal gives them a chance to pause, catch up and just connect with each other. The family unit is a team, and reinforcing that bond through shared experiences will only make that family a stronger unit.

We believe that on occasion, taking the time to cook as a family is more than just a routine task. It’s a time to not only instill a love of cooking, but also to impart some family values. While working in the kitchen, families can let their guards down and connect on an authentic level. It’s a time where they can share traditions, build bonds, and make memories. But most of all it’s an act of love.
