Orienteering is a combination of cross country and the application of map reading and navigation skills.
The Farm has ample space within its grounds to train participants, and challenge them to navigate courses in alien environments. For more advanced navigators an night time course can be set.
Orienteering not only re-enforces useful life skills, but it allows participants to take calculated risks in a controlled environment. They will have to deal with the consequences of making a bad decision and enjoy the success of a well planned strategy. Orienteering would begin in groups of three and be honed down to an individual competitors depending on levels of skill.
